I am so glad you have found me! I am Sandra Currie and believe me when I say, I am no different than you. I am learning, growing, healing, navigating, and thriving on this side of heaven. I radically believe that, through God, every person has the power to be an amazing person, even after hardship, disappointment, or deep pain.
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10
I want to live an abundant, thriving life, but sometimes I fail. I am a work in progress because I am a human, and so are you, so give yourself Grace. Despite my brokenness, overthinking, and self-doubt, I have discovered so much joy and freedom through accepting who I am and living in God's will.
"Teach me your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me." Psalm 25:4-5

The Fall Was a New Beginning

Like many many others, 2020 was a difficult year for me. Navigating the "new normal" during Covid was disruptive enough. However, during this time, I learned that my husband was fully engaged in an affair. This was devastating, and tore our marriage apart at the core. Little did I know, this would eventually set our marriage on an upward trajectory to a new, fantastic, and thriving marriage. The marriage that we knew had died, but this ultimately made way for a new Christ centered marriage to begin.
This was not easy! I do not for one second want to make it sound as though I quickly forgave him and moved on. Oh no! It was a very difficult journey which took significant work to heal and find forgiveness. This could only be done through God's love and grace! As I leaned into my faith, God led me back to college and I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family.
"Very truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." John 12:24
My Purpose
My purpose is to walk with couples and women with Christian biblical based counsel.
I never imagined that I would be in marriage ministry along with my husband! However, the Lord had plans for me. Over the course of many years I heard whispers in my ear “Something great is coming for you and I am going to use you for something bigger than you.” Little did I know my entire world would fall apart first. It was terrible in the midst of the pain, but I can say now, Thank you Jesus!
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
Let me and James help you navigate your challenges with a biblical foundation. We know that our struggles, pain, and . Whether it is infidelity, broken trust, marriage recovery, Bible study, divorce recovery, navigating blended family, sexual integrity, or anything in between, reach out and let’s chat.

Family
James and I have been married over 22-years and we have four children together (all boys). We enjoy spending time in Northern Michigan during the summer. Our boys are involved in various activities ranging from competitive powerlifting, collectable card games, robotics competitions, and playing guitar.

Indy Car
I am a huge Indy Car Race fan. From March to September, my weekends are often planned around Indy races. If you have not watched a race, you totally should! This is me sitting on the finish line of the Indianapolis Speedway (AKA the brickyard), where the Indy 500 is held annually! We visit the speedway whenever we are in Indianapolis.

Zumba
I love teaching Zumba! When I received my license to teach in 2012, I never imagined I would still be leading classes so many years later. I have been teaching my in-person classes at the same location since I started, and I am now dabbling in teaching online classes. Zumba is an amazing workout and helps keep me healthy!
